About Jim Cooper

As Principal of Cooper & Associates Wealth Management, Jim is committed to ongoing professional development. He holds an internationally recognised qualification by being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^CM professional.

Jim is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning and the Personal Finance Society (part of the Chartered Insurance Institute). Both organisations have strict Codes of Ethics and Conduct, enabling clients to receive fair treatment and professional standards when dealing with the financial services industry.

Jim has over 11 years industry experience. Prior to this he was a British Army officer attaining the rank of Captain in the Royal Regiment of Artillery. During his 6 years service he travelled the world and saw two tours of operational duty.

He is married to Sarah and has two daughters at Preparatory school in Maidenhead. Outside of work, Jim enjoys beekeeping, fly-fishing, shooting (all disciplines) and gardening.
